Moves in the Field - 2 DVD set

NOTE: The Moves-in-the-Field Tests were revised effective September 1, 2010. This 2-DVD Set, PLUS the PSA Moves UPDATE DVD #441170D must be used together to cover the revised series of tests.

Moves in the Field have become an integral part of the USFSA testing program. This 2-tape set, produced by the Professional Skaters Association and approved by the USFSA, defines the correct steps and a standard of quality expected from skaters who are being tested for Moves in the Field. It is intended only as a guide for judges, coaches, and skaters in order to develop a standard throughout the country. The two-volume set covers all of the Moves from each of the USFSA's Moves-in-the-Field tests from Pre-Preliminary through Senior Test.

Each test level includes:

• 1 or more repetitions at regular speed and in slow motion
• Correct teaching technique and ideal positions
• Prerequisite moves in order to teach the step or most difficult position of each of the moves.
• Coaching tips.

Special Note: It is important to realize that this is an instructional video. The elements in each field move are produced with few or no mistakes. Errors are allowed at each test level, which should not exclude a test from passing. The level and magnitude of the error must always be considered when evaluating a test as a pass or fail.
